By creating an account and using Mistbooks ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
Mistbooks is a web-based accounting and invoicing platform for Indian businesses. It enables users to manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), GST invoices, and customer records. The Service is provided as a subscription (SaaS) product.
You must create an account to use Mistbooks. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it updated.

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into Mistbooks. We do not claim any rights to your business records, invoices, or customer data. You grant us a limited licence to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
Mistbooks provides tools to help you create GST-compliant invoices, but the accuracy of the information entered is solely your responsibility. We are not a licensed tax advisor. Please consult a chartered accountant for professional GST advice.
We aim to maintain 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for losses arising from temporary unavailability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mistbooks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the three months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
You may terminate your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you via email of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
