Mistbooks is a subscription-based software service. This policy outlines how cancellations and refunds are handled. By subscribing, you agree to this policy.
Free Trial
Mistbooks offers a 7-day free trial. No payment is required during the trial period. You can cancel anytime during the trial without any charge.
Monthly Subscription — Cancellation
- You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing us.
- Cancellation stops future billing. Your account remains active until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds: Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing cycle has started. No partial refunds are issued for unused days within a monthly cycle.
Yearly Subscription — Cancellation & Refund
- You may cancel your yearly subscription at any time.
- Within 7 days of payment: If you are dissatisfied with the Service, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your payment date. Email us at saurabh.choudhary.iitkgp@gmail.com with your registered email and reason.
- After 7 days: No refunds are issued for the remaining period of the yearly subscription. Your access continues until the subscription end date.
Exceptions — When Refunds Are Issued
We will issue a refund in the following circumstances regardless of the above policy:
- Duplicate payment for the same subscription period
- Technical error resulting in incorrect charges
- Service is completely unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at saurabh.choudhary.iitkgp@gmail.com with:
- Your registered email address
- Your Razorpay payment ID (available in your email receipt)
- Reason for the refund request
We will respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.
Your Data After Cancellation
After cancellation, your data (invoices, records, customer details) is retained for 30 days. You may export your data during this period. After 30 days, data is permanently deleted from our servers.
