• Business information: Business name, GSTIN, address, phone, bank details
• Transaction data: Invoices, AP/AR records, customer information you enter
• Payment information: Payment transactions processed via Razorpay (we do not store card details)
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, browser type, IP address

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Mistbooks service
• To process your subscription payments
• To generate GST-compliant invoices on your behalf
• To send service-related notifications (payment receipts, trial expiry reminders)
• To improve the platform and fix bugs
• To comply with legal obligations under Indian law

We use the following third-party services to operate Mistbooks:

We do not sell your data to any third parties.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase servers with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS, secure authentication tokens, and access controls. Only authorised personnel have access to production systems.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer.
